Once he finished bagging her groceries, she asked him to help her carry the bags to her car. So he happily grabbed the bags and followed her out the door. When he got outside he tripped over an uneven step, but she did not see him and he didn’t let the groceries fall out the bag. He quickly hopped off the ground and ran behind her. She unlocks her car and opens the trunk. She stared at him without a care in the world; she looked at his muscles and thought about how strong he was to carry both bags to the car. Suddenly he looked up and their eyes met in the middle. He nervously introduced himself to her, “Hi, my name is Rick Black.”

She replied as if she was queen of England.” How do you my name is Maria Polk.” They stared at each other forgetting where they were. It truly was love at first sight. While they were just standing there looking at each other, Rick’s manger called out to him. So Maria being the brave young lady she is spoke out and said,” Yes, I would be honored to go on a date with you,” He look at her as if she was reading his mind,” Pick me up at 8 o’clock.” She got into her car without saying another word. Still shocked he look at her one last time and then went back to work.

Later on that evening at 8 o’clock Rick was at her door. He had been sweating because he was nervous and had never met a girl like her before. He stood there took a deep breath and finally rung the door bell. While, he was ringing the door bell Maria was up stairs preparing for the date of her dreams. She had never felt like this before, it was like she was floating on clouds and her feet was never touching the ground. No one answered the door so he rang again. She ran down the stairs, out of breath, and answered the door. Out of breath she said, “Come on in.” She stop and took a breath and proceeded to lead him to the family room where her parents where. When they walked in the room she signaled to her mom to be nice. Both parents welcomed him with open arms. After, they asked him a few questions they walked them to the door, and wish them a good time.

Once they were in the car it was complete silence. While, they were driving up the street both of them wanted to talk to the other, but couldn’t figure how to start off the conversation. So they continued riding in silence until they got to Tops Bar-B-Que. Once they were inside they went to the counter to order there food. They both got a burger with fries and a drink. After, the sat at the table for a while they began to talk about how good the food was, and from there the conversation went on to different subjects. The whole night he made her laugh and she made him laugh, they began to see how compatible they were for each other. So Maria suggested that they go to the park, while they were at the park they sat there on the bench and stare at the stars. Next thing they know they are staring into each other eyes. Minutes passed even hours, so they got in the car and headed home. He walked her to the door while holding hands; truly they had found love in each other. Once they were at the door he kissed her goodnight and walked anyway to the car.

From that night forward Marie went to the grocery store, everyday just to see him. When she saw him she would walk down the ales and look around as if she did not know where anything was. So she headed to the counter and asked him for assistance. Happily he lead her to the back were they could talk, without him getting caught. He said to her,” Seeing you make my day go by smoothly.”

She stood there blushing trying to think of something to say back, but she could only say,” Thank you. “Then she kissed him on the cheek and continued to skip out of the door with a kool-aid smile. Smiling harder than ever Rick went back to work.
This process went on for two years. One day, after Maria was in her car she began to feel like she missed and perfect opportunity to tell him that she loves him. So she sat in the driveway and thought about it. So she decides to go inside and call him. He answered and she said,” I have something very important to tell you, I Love you.” The words came up like vomit.

In shock he replied, “I love you too.” The phone line was quiet for a while, so to break the silence Rick told her he would be there in 30 minutes, for their date.
She said,” Okay,” and hung up the phone. When she hung up the phone she started looking through her clothes to find the perfect outfit. When she finally found the right dress that made her look like a model, she hurried down stairs to met Rick at the door. Rick was speechless about how beautiful she looked. He stared so long that she asked him,” Are we just going to stand here or are we going on this date that you promised will be one I’ll always remember.

He said, “Yea let’s go.” She pulled the door up, grabbed his hand, and ran to the car. He opens the car door and was still amazed at how she looked. So the whole way he complimented her on how wonderful she looked. She smiled, blushed, and laughed at him.

Then she asked,” Where are we going?”
He said,” Dancing!” She gasps at the fact that he was actually taking her where she always wanted to go. When they arrived at dance studios, he walked her to the table he had reserved for them. Once they were at the table he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

She jumped up out of her seat and said,” Yes, yes a million times yes.” Everyone around them began clapping and shouting. He grabbed her and took her on the dance floor and they danced all night long. She felt like as if she was a princess still floating on clouds and he was like the prince she had always dreamed of.
